For the first time, FFN Norway is organizing a certification course for healthcare professionals working with secondary fracture prevention/ FLS. The curriculum is based on the recently published competency requirements from FFN https://fragilityfracturenetwork.org/resources_list/the-ffn-secondary-fragility-fracture-prevention-competence-framework/. The course is structured with two physical meetings and two shorter webinars, and runs over six months. We will review all aspects of secondary fracture prevention. The goal of the course is to make participants familiar with, and more confident in, the full spectrum of secondary fracture prevention, including DXA, fall prevention, lifestyle/nutrition and treatment of patients at high risk of new fractures. The first course is fully subscribed and will start in May 2026.
